Wow how many mistakes do the Tides have to make?! How many shot opportunities are they going to miss or pass up and how many times do they have to be captured before they finally get it together and get it right?!! I asked myself those questions numerous times while reading these last two books. I can understand a couple of contrived mistakes to force the plot direction but damn, one after another to draw the story out is just frustrating and annoying. There were parts of the plot I enjoyed, the alternate world was cool although questionable and I liked the characters probably most of all, but by the time the trilogy ended, I was just kind of glad it was finally over.
