Wanderer's Folly...

The Night Parade - Ronald Malfi

The Night Parade is a post-apocalyptic story about a father and daughter, David and Ellie, who are on the run from the government/ CDC because they think Ellie may hold the key and cure to a new disease called Wanderer's Folly which is rapidly taking over the world. The story alternates from present to past with you gradually learning how they came to be in their current situation. I think this worked well until I reached the end and I was like whoa wait this is it?? I don't see any indication that there is another book in the works but I got the feeling that the author left the story open in hopes of continuing it in another book. I was really hoping to learn a lot more about the Folly and Ellie's abilities and potential to cure so I really hope that is the case, otherwise if you're like me, you'll be left feeling just a little bit cheated.
