So I did actually read this before Christmas but I'm a little bit behind in getting reviews out. Between the holidays, my father going into the hospital & the boys being out of school, I have not had much time to get anything done. So I'm trying to cram today and get all of my reviews done for the books I read in 2015, so I can start 2016 with a clean slate. There really aren't that many, but I would feel so much better if I could at least get that done. : ) Anyways, I'm rambling...
Back to Christmas was about a dysfunctional family named the Krumwerths. They have been on the naughty list two years in a row and and they are in danger of going on the permanent naughty list. Santa wants to give them a chance to redeem themselves but Marmel, the head elf in the labeling department doesn't think they can do it and wants the family to stay on the list. That is until he realizes he might be also losing his Christmas spirit so he decides to give the family one last chance in effort to save them and himself.
I thought the characters were really cute and I also enjoyed the message the story conveyed. It's a really fun story to get you in the Christmas spirit, but I thought it was a little too long especially for younger kids which I think would be the audience that would enjoy it the most.
*I received my copy through Firstreads & the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
