Right now I'm having mixed feelings about this book. I like the premise and the characters and I did enjoy the story but while they kept walking and walking, I kept waiting and waiting for all these questions in my head to get answered and they really never did. I just personally don't care for ambiguous stories and endings. I wanted to know more about the reason and purpose of the race and what they got out of it in the end but unfortunately it looks like I'll be waiting for as long as they walked.
